How can I hang a french memo board on my college wall?

I have a french memo board I made myself using a canvas board. The only thing is that everytime I try to hang it on the wall with a sticky hook, it falls down in 1 min. Wat can I use that will be more secure for this board and won't fall down?

If so, you might try using peel and stick velcro tape - which you can find in packages at Walmart.
