Can an office memo contain a chart?

I am creating an office memo for a college class, and the most clear way that I can see, is with a chart. But if it is not normal or business proper, I will do it with sentence and paragraphs only. Thank you.|||Charts are good, maybe just add it to the memo as and attachment.
