Why does my ipod freeze up when i record a voice memo or video?

like i start recording and it works fine until i go more then 30 seconds then it freezes up .


ive never had this problem before ,


i think it could be the room ? its really really hot and sticky in the room.


ive already tried turning it off ,it wont work !
